You triggered some thoughts on this topic for me and I was going to write about them and then somehow I found myself writing about patience and determination. You are right that judgement sometimes seem to come at the expense of compassion in our modern society.

I have often wondered if the lack of compassion is in part due to an over-mechanisation or over-automation of our society?
