One thing to remember if you decide to use the audioscrobber (last.fm) plugin is that theres a bug in the plugin that you have to work round.

It make Banshee crash everytime it talks to last.fm.  It&#039;s fixed in the next version, but they were good enough to post this procedure:

Open a shell and from your home directory run:

&#039;mkdir .gnome2/banshee/plugins&#039;

Now that&#039;s fixed, I&#039;m a definite Banshee convert!</description>

		<description>Ah! Awesome, I too recently moved to Ubuntu after being with Windows.  The free software ideology appeals to me greatly too, and I&#039;m learning a lot and finding it is enhancing my appreciation of what a GUI actually does. I&#039;ve been using RhythmBox for my music, but I&#039;ll take a look at Banshee if you&#039;re recommending it.</description>
