Well, what can I put here? I dislike writing these things, but I suppose I’d better make some sort of effort.
Well, I’m a guy in his mid thirties, hailing from an area of England known as “The Black Country”. I’ve been interested in the area of Religion and Spirituality for years, drifting around. I started out as an occasional Anglican, more by upbringing than anything else, though my crowd was never really religious. I’ve wandered though Atheism, Taoist philosophy and Buddhism, and at the end of it reinvestigated Christianity. This investigation resulted in a couple of articles, I then walked away again.
I’m currently taking an Agnostic Buddhist position, heavily flavoured with Humanism and the Taoist thought I’ve found so useful and rewarding. I think that some things are, at the present time, beyond our ability to make honest definitive statements on; although I do believe that we can make educated guesses as to probability in some areas. Most important is an open mind, but not so open it falls out of our ears.
Aside from the above, I have an ongoing interest in Free Software and programming. You can find my software via the links above. I can also be found in the virtual world of “Second Life”, which I’m finding to be one of the more fascinating things I’ve been involved with.
